Reasons for shopping online abroad in Mexico 2022

As of early 2022, approximately half of e-commerce users surveyed in Mexico said they preferred to buy on international websites to discover new and interesting products. Better prices were the second most popular reason to make this decision. Shopping for unavailable items in the domestic market was the third leading factor in purchasing cross-border. Mexican consumers mainly buy from the United States when shopping online abroad.
