In 2021, the Chilean National Consumer Service (Sernac, as abbreviated in Spanish) received a total of 970 complaints during the celebration of CyberDay. This edition, which took place from May 31 to June 2, generated over six million online transactions. Meanwhile, CyberMonday Chile — also organized by the Santiago Chamber of Commerce— registered 543 claims in 2021, a 58 percent increase over the previous year.

- CyberDay is an online shopping event in Chile created by the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CCS, as abbreviated in Spanish). It usually takes place in May. In 2021, CyberDay in Chile took place from the 31st of May to the 2nd of June.
- CyberMonday in Chile is a three-day-long online shopping event, usually taking place in October. However, in 2020, the event took place from the 2nd to the 4th of November due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
