Market share of organic fruit sales in Belgium 2008-2021
This statistic displays the market share of organic fruit sales in Belgium from 2008 to 2021. Between 2008 and 2018, the organic fruit market share increased nearly annually. In 2008, two percent of the fruit sold in Belgium was organic fruit. By 2018, this had increased to over five percent. From 2019 onwards, only the figure for the region Flanders was available. As organic food becomes increasingly popular, it is expected that the market share of organic fruit will grow further in the near future.
