Italy: number of overnight stays of residents in the 2015 Expo area in 2014 and 2015
This statistic compares the number of overnight stays of Italian residents in the Expo area (made up by the municipalities of Milan, Baranzate, Pero and Rho) in Italy in 2014 and 2015. According to the study results, the number of overnight stays in the Expo area increased from 297,000 in 2014 to 2,277,000 in 2015, largely thanks to the effect of Milan Expo 2015. This represents a ten-fold increase in the space of a year.
