In 2023, around 15.4 billion liters of residual bunker C oil were produced in South Korea, which was a decrease from about 18.7 billion liters in the previous year. Residual bunker C oil production had maintained a constant figure at around 17 billion liters in recent years and is most commonly used as fuel onboard ships.
