This survey shows the percentage of adults in the U.S. with at least one inpatient stay in 2014, by number of chronic conditions. Almost 10 percent of those with 3 to 4 chronic conditions had at least one inpatient stay in 2014, compared to only 3 percent of those with no chronic conditions.
