This statistic illustrates the two main types of domestic holidays taken by the Italian population in 2015, broken down by age group. According to the study results, the majority of cultural holidays and of nature holidays within Italy were made by people in the 25-44 age group (42 percent and 41 percent, respectively). People over 65 made up a larger share of nature holiday-makers than of cultural holiday-makers.
