This statistic illustrates the share of Italians who participated in cultural entertainments at least once a year in the period from 2006 to 2015, by type. According to the study results, the most popular form of cultural entertainment throughout the period was visiting museums and exhibitions, followed by visiting archaeological sites and monuments and going to theatre. By contrast, classical music concerts and opera were enjoyed by a minority of respondents (around 10 percent).
