Throughout 2022, publishers in Brazil produced approximately 323 million book copies, of which around 184 million (or 57 percent) were textbooks. Religious books and adult literature followed with about 53 million and 20 million units. The number of religious book titles published in Brazil increased by 1.3 percent in 202.
