In 2023, the number of general book titles published in Brazil grew to 21.6 thousand, up by 3.5 percent compared to the previous year. At the same time, the number of textbook titles increased to 12.4 thousand. Brazil's total number of book titles published declined by 0.8 percent in 2023.
