After a peak in September 2020, Litecoin saw its transaction volume decrease by nearly 40 percent in the early months of 2021. The cryptocurrency ranks among the oldest digital coins available, and is consistently one of the most traded virtual currencies on the market. Nevertheless, Litecoin is not as popular as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or Ripple (XRP).
