This statistic shows the results of a Statista survey in which U.S. e-commerce shoppers were asked if they prefer to purchase consumer electronics (e.g., cell phones, televisions, consoles) used or new in the United States as of June 2017, sorted by gender. During the survey period, 73 percent of female respondents stated that they prefer to purchase new consumer electronics.
