Main reasons for abandoning an online shopping site in Mexico 2023

In 2023, the primary reason for abandoning online shopping in Mexico was attributed to a lack of information and transparency, as reported by eight out of ten surveyed e-commerce users. Additionally, nearly three-quarters cited purchase and payment issues during checkout as their main deterrent, followed by navigation and website functionality problems. Moreover, 47 percent of respondents who abandoned their purchase cited concerns related to security and customer service.
