This statistic describes the results of a survey among hotels about the distribution of guests across hotels in India in the 2017 financial year, based on guest origin and hotel type. During the measured time period, around 68.7 percent of guests at hotel chains were domestic guests, and 31.3 percent were foreign guests in India.
