In 2020, the share of young people who were not in education, employment or training (NEET) in Italy peaked in Sicily, with 37.5 percent of people aged 15 to 29 years. Calabria and Campania followed in the ranking. On the contrary, Trentino-South Tyrol recorded the lowest percentage of NEET individuals.
