Italy: modes of travels used for tourism 2016
The statistic shows the modes of travel used for tourism in Italy in 2016. As of the survey period, the greatest number of Italians used a car to travel during their holidays. On the other hand, about 1.5 percent used a camping van to travel and 2.2 percent preferred traveling by ferry. Among the public transports, planes were the most used, followed by trains.
