Beer was the alcoholic beverage with the highest sales volume in Brazil in 2022. That year, sales of alcoholic beverages in the country amounted to just less than 15 billion liters, out of which approximately 13.2 billion liters (more than 88 percent of the total sales volume) were sales of beer. Sales of spirits in the country reached 1.1 billion liters in 2022.
