In 2015, the total e-commerce revenue in the Netherlands reached an amount of approximately seven billion euros and is forecasted to reach approximately 9.5 billion euros in 2017. As can be seen from a different statistic, the annual online consumer expenditure has more than doubled over the past five years, with online consumer expenditure climbing to almost 20.2 billion euros in 2017.
