This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female respondents in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked where they usually buy decorative cosmetics, such as foundation, lipstick and mascara, broken down by age group. The results show that women of all ages are most likely to buy their cosmetics from the drugstore. Pharmacies are popular shopping locations for the older generation, with 27 percent of those aged 60 and above saying they buy cosmetics from this outlet, compared to 8 percent of 18 to 29 year olds.
