Reasons for using nail polish among women in the United Kingdom (UK) 2017, by age
This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female nail polish wearers in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked why they usually use nail polish, broken down by age group. The most common explanation for using nail polish among women of all ages is to look better. Among those surveyed, 42 percent of 18 to 29 year olds cited this a reason for their eye make-up use, as well as 53 percent of 30 to 59 year olds and 59 percent of those aged 60 years and older.
