This statistic shows the results of a Statista survey conducted in the United States in 2017 on tattoos and body modification. During the survey, the respondents were asked what are the reasons for having a tattoo removed. The results were sorted by age. 27 percent of the respondents between 18 and 29 of age, said they are thinking about removing one of their tattoos because they no longer like the tattoo design.
