This statistic shows the per capita consumption volume share of pulses in Italy in 2015, by type. A majority of pulses consumed in Italy are beans with a 46 percent share of all pulses consumed per capita, followed by peas at 29 percent. Chickpeas and lentils are the least popular type of pulse with only a 12 and 13 percent share respectively. In 2015, the volume of pulse sales increased by two percent.
