This timeline illustrates the share of Italian Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) foodstuffs allocated to the European market between the year 2013 and 2015. Over the period of consideration, the share of Italian PDO and/or PGI certified food products allocated to the European market have increased passing from 62 percent in the year 2013 to 69 percent as of the year 2015.
