Average daily social media use in selected European countries 2023

According to a study conducted in the third quarter of 2023, internet users in Portugal spent a daily average of two hours and 23 minutes accessing social media platforms across all of their devices. Overall, users in Russia spent around two hours and 21 minutes on social media every day, whilst users in Poland and Spain spent one hour and 54 minutes on online networks. Individuals in the Netherlands had one of the lowest daily engagement rates in Europe, with one and a half daily hours spent on social media platforms as of the third quarter of 2023.
