According to a survey from 2020, direct booking is expected to be the most popular form of holiday booking in Italy for the summer holidays. Data show that about six in ten respondents preferred to book their summer holidays in this way. Moreover, it was estimated that 31 percent of holiday-makers will rely on travel agencies.
