In 2016/17, premium draught lager had a market share of 15 percent in the United Kingdom. Other types of Lager had a market share of three percent for premium packaged lager and 16 percent for world lager. The rest of the UK market was made up of standard draught Lager. That being said, standard draught or draft lager was the only category of lager whose market value in the UK dropped compared to the prior year. Premium and World grew by over nine percent respectively.
