This statistic shows the share of beer promotions in hypermarkets and supermarkets in Italy as of February 2016, broken down by type of promotion. As of the survey period, the share of discounts of more than 25 percent was applied in 45 percent of the hypermarkets and supermarkets taken into account, surpassing the two-for-one promotions by almost three times. The most common type of promotion consisted in discounts smaller than 25 percent (56 percent).
