The total fee and commission income of Ageas fluctuated considerably from 2014 to 2023. As of the end of 2023, the Belgium-based insurance company had a total fee and commission income of approximately 221 million euros — a slight increase compared to the lowest value observed in the previous year.
Ageas SA/NV engages in the provision of life and non-life insurance, investments, and real estate and operates in several geographical areas, such as Belgium, the United Kingdom, continental Europe and Asia. In Belgium, Ageas offers life and non-life products to private individuals and small to medium enterprises under the name of AG Insurance. It reached a market share in the private health insurance market of approximately 18.5 percent in 2021.
