The value of confectionery purchases has decreased in the period under consideration, with seasonal confectionery experiencing a severe loss in value. Seasonal confectionery makes up only a small portion of confectionery sales value in the Netherlands at only nine million euros, compared to 863 million euros for regular confectionery.
