The crude oil production by private/joint venture units across India amounted to approximately 6.2 million metric tons during the fiscal year 2021. Figures are projected to decrease to 4.8 million metric tons during the coming fiscal year. At the same time, the south Asian country is forecasted to produce around 11.42 million metric tons of onshore crude oil during 2022.
