Frequency of ice cream consumption in Japan 2023
The majority of Japanese consumers ate ice cream at least once a week, as revealed in a survey conducted in Japan in October 2023. According to the survey results, ice cream was the most popular dessert in Japan, but almost 25 percent of respondents restricted themselves to eating the treat once a week. Close to eight percent of respondents enjoyed the cold treat almost daily.
