This statistic illustrates the findings of a survey on the openness of users with other people about their usage of online dating sites or apps in the United Kingdom (UK) in June 2017, by sexual orientation. During the survey period, it was found that approximately 60 percent of respondents across all surveyed groups reported that they would let their friends know that they had used online dating site or app. Nonetheless, 19 and 16 percent of responding heterosexual and bisexual individuals stated, that they would not inform anyone.
