Vestas Deutschland GmbH, a German subsidiary of the leading Danish manufacturer Vestas, installed some 1.5 gigawatts of wind energy in 2023. Nordex SE was the second leading manufacturer based in Germany that year with an installed capacity of almost one gigawatt.
