In 2023, the number of violent and serious property crimes committed in Singapore for every 100,000 individuals was one. This is due to the change in classification of violent and serious property crime, which from 2022 onwards did not include any digital or cybercrimes. Singapore has been consistently ranked as one of the safest countries in the world, and has a overall low crime rate.
