Number of battery-electric passenger cars in traffic in Finland 2023, by brand

As of 2023, the number of battery-electric passenger cars on the Finnish roads amounted to approximately 83,800. This represented a sharp increase compared to the 2022 Finnish battery-electric vehicle fleet. Around 20,900 of the all-electric cars in traffic were from the car manufacturer Tesla Motors. The second most common car brand was Volkswagen, followed by Skoda and Mercedes-Benz.
