Italy: attitudes towards adoption by same-sex female couples 2011
This chart shows the degree of acceptance of adoption by same-sex female couples among the Italian population in 2011, sorted by age group. According to this statistic, nearly 60 percent of Italians aged between 18 and 74 strongly disagreed with the statement that a female homosexual couple should have the right to adopt a child. This view was shared by 71 percent of the 65-74 age group and by more than 50 percent of the 18-34 age group.
