In financial year of 2023, there were nearly 65 million households that subscribed to Direct-To-Home (DTH) television services across India. It was a decrease from the previous year. During the presented period, the number peaked in 2019 at 72.4 million households were subscribed to this format. Moreover, the growth of video streaming platforms in the country has resulted in the development of a cord-cutting trend.
