Revenue of non-alcoholic beverages in Russia
In 2022, the revenue of non-alcoholic market in Russia constituted nearly 8.8 billion U.S. dollars, which was expected to increase by 2027. The segment of bottled water contributed the most to the total revenue, measured at about 5.9 billion U.S. dollars in 2022. The revenue share from juice sales in the country was the smallest. Sales of non-carbonated soft drinks, such as juice drinks, flavored water, and ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee or tea, brought to the segment about one billion U.S. dollars in 2022, while the earnings from energy and sports drinks totaled around one million U.S. dollars.
Key exporters of non-alcoholic beverages to Russia
In 2021, the largest share of bottled water imported to Russia came from Georgia, with a value of over 72 million U.S. dollars. Vegetable and fruit juices originated mainly in Brazil and China, worth over 67 million and 47 million U.S. dollars, respectively. Furthermore, in the same year, Brazil led the ranking of main coffee exporters to Russia. Austria and South Korea were the leading suppliers of soft drinks to the country, with an import value exceeding 30 million U.S. dollars.
