In February 2023, Hero's Splender was the most sold motorcycle across India, with a sales volume of over 266 thousand units. It was closely followed by Honda Activa. Hero Motor was India's biggest two-wheeler manufacturer, and it sold more than five million units in 2020, a decrease from around 6.7 million units in 2019 due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
