Royalties Univision paid to Televisa 2014-2020
In 2021, Televisa received almost 418 million U.S. dollars in royalties from Univision, up from about 380 million dollars in the previous year – an annual increase of around 10 percent. In April 2021, Televisa announced a 4.8 billion-dollar merger agreement with Univision. TelevisaUnivision was officially founded on January 31, 2022. Since February that year, Televisa is no longer receiving royalties from Univision.
