Sense of safety in the Netherlands 2014-2017
This statistic displays the sense of safety in the Netherlands from October 2014 to May 2017. In October 2014, approximately 90 percent of the participants said to generally feel safe in the Netherlands. After the attack on the Bataclan theatre in Paris in November 2015, this decreased to 78 percent. After the terrorist attacks in Manchester in May 2017, approximately 80 percent of the respondents answered that they generally feel safe.
