Grocery expenditure during and outside Ramadan in the Netherlands 2014-2017
This statistic displays the average grocery expenditure during and outside the Ramadan period in the Netherlands in 2014 and 2017 (in euros). In 2014, the average weekly expenditure on groceries among the Turkish-Dutch and Moroccan-Dutch respondents was 90 euros. During the Ramadan period, this increased to 120 euros per week. In 2017, the average grocery expenditure in this group was 96 euros per week. During the Ramadan they expect to spend 135 euros this year.
