Reinvestment of profits accounted for almost 44.7 percent of the total foreign direct investment (FDI) stock in Mexico throughout 2022. During that same period, over 49 percent of Mexican FDI consisted of new investments. Moreover, the United States is one of the countries that most invest in Mexico.
