This statistic depicts the travel plans of consumers in the Middle East at the end of Ramadan for Eid of May 2016. About 30 percent of respondents stated they are planning to travel abroad for the Eid al-Fitr festivities at the end of Ramadan. Countries like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have a high number of expatriates, especially from Muslims countries such as Pakistan and Bangladesh. Most consider traveling to their home countries to celebrate Eid with their families.
