In the year leading up to week 9, 2015, the value of the sales of Italian Prosecco was approximately 18.9 million euros. In 2016, this decreased to roughly 16.7 million euros. In the year leading up to week 8, 2017 sales of Prosecco decreased even further, to roughly 15.1 million euros. This reflects the decreasing popularity of Prosecco in the Netherlands.
