Survey on dealing with hate speech in organizations in Finland 2017
Hate speech refers to speech that is used to insult or offend a person, focusing on a particular attribute of a person such as race, religion or sexual orientation. Hate speech is often encountered on the internet and social media platforms and applications, where users can, anonymously at times, offend people that they feel hostile about. In Finland, hate speech can be seen as a threat to the freedom of speech as authorities are forced to consider ways to tackle the phenomenon.
