Annual consumption volume of beef in Norway 2010-2022
The consumption volume fluctuated over the years, but recorded an overall increase between 2010 and 2016, when the volume of beef consumed amounted to almost 77 thousand metric tons. Afterwards, Norwegians seemed to have reduced their meat consumption as the figures decreased. As of 2022, it increased again, reaching more that 81 thousand metric tons, and remained close to this value in the following year.
