This statistic shows the results of a survey on the consumption frequency of organic food in Finland in 2017, by product. In 2017, organic fruit, berries, vegetables and eggs were the most frequently consumed products. 22 percent of respondents also reported to use organic cereal products daily or almost daily. Organic beans were consumed the most seldom out of the surveyed food products, with 63 percent of the respondents using them less frequently than couple of times a month.
Overall, the consumption of organic food has become more regular in Finland over the recent years. According to the survey, the main reasons for buying organic food included cleanliness, quality and healthiness.
