Total eSports winnings in the Nordic countries 2006-2016

This statistic shows the total eSports winnings in the Nordic countries from 2006 to 2016. Over the 10-year period, the eSports winnings in Sweden were the highest out of the presented Nordic countries, amounting to roughly 5.35 million U.S. dollars in the year 2016. The eSports winnings in Denmark grew from a little less than 67,000 U.S. dollars to approximately 4.5 millions over the surveyed period of 2006 to 2016. In Finland as well as in Norway, the amount of eSports winnings have increased more moderately, reaching roughly 570 million U.S. dollars in Norway and roughly 1.4 billion U.S. dollars in Finland in the year 2016.
