Italian travelers aged between 45 and 54 years recorded the highest share of business trips in 2020. That year, Italian business tourists within this age group made roughly 29 percent of all trips. Meanwhile, business trips by Italians aged between 25 and 34 years accounted for over 23 percent of all journeys in 2020, while they represented around 13 percent of trips in 2019.
